Cancellation and Refunds Policy

This Cancellation and Refunds Policy (“Policy”) governs the cancellation of subscriptions or services and the refund process on Swadeshidirectory.com, operated by Swanand Jivanshaili Foundation (“Foundation”). As a digital business directory platform, services such as business listings and one-year subscriptions are intangible and non-returnable once activated, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which prohibit unfair cancellation charges and require timely refunds for eligible cases. Cancellations are allowed only before service activation, and refunds are processed fairly without deductions except for unavoidable fees, ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines for digital transactions.

Eligibility for Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations are permitted within 7 days of purchase if the subscription or listing has not been activated or published on the directory. Eligible refunds include cases of technical errors, duplicate charges, non-delivery of access credentials, or if the service materially differs from the description in the Terms and Conditions. Once activated (e.g., listing goes live), services are non-cancellable and non-refundable, as they are considered delivered digital content under Indian consumer laws. No refunds apply to partial usage, renewals, or changes of mind; exclusions also cover promotional offers or custom listings.

Cancellation Process
To cancel a subscription, log into your account dashboard or email support immediately with your order ID, reason, and confirmation that no activation has occurred. Requests must be submitted within the eligibility window via email at swadeshidirectory2010@gmail.com or through the Website’s contact form. The Foundation will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours and verify the request; if approved, the cancellation takes effect immediately, preventing any further charges. For auto-renewals, disable renewal in account settings at least 7 days before expiry.

Refund Process
Approved refunds are initiated within 5-7 business days of cancellation verification, credited to the original payment method (e.g., bank account or card) as per RBI guidelines. Processing time may extend to 10-15 days for certain gateways; users receive a confirmation email with refund details and tracking. Deductions, if any, are limited to transaction fees (up to 2-5%) imposed by payment providers; no other charges apply under E-Commerce Rules. Exclusions and Special Cases
Refunds are not issued for active subscriptions, expired services, or after the 7-day window; digital downloads or access codes are final. Fraudulent requests or violations of Terms may result in denial and account suspension. All policies align with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, allowing escalation to consumer forums if unresolved.
